The product is NOT watertight. it is ok for a regular item storage, but if you want to store items in damp areas - this is not your item.
On the contrary what is said in the item description the box is NOT WATERPROOF. Humidity detector in 24h rose from 50% to 80% in a closed box. If you are looking for waterproof watertight ammunition box- this is not it! Might be good for other purposes though.
