Really good trousers. They very durable. To break them it took me sliding 9 yards on my arse down a rough concrete ramp, that only caused an 1 inch long rip and ripped off some non-essential stitching, and this was after the cloth looked bleached from it being worn when I got black-out drunk (from just one day) (I don\'t know what I did though), so you have to give these trousers that at least, they are tough as hell. Perfectly alright when I jumped over barbed wire with it catching multiple times. The pockets are lovely and very big, only one back pocket, would rather have 2, no reason why not, plus their buttons are a tad too small and a pain to open even without any gloves or cold fingers. I am an absolutely average person in size (I got an M), but I found the trousers a bit too long, even if you wear your belt properly (high), it still was too long. I like the feature of the elastic drawstring and the built in gaiters to keep all sorts of crap out of your boots, but when done up properly the sheer length of these trousers would make them baggy at the legs. The nylon netting to make these trousers ripstop gives them a much cheaper feel and makes it harder for the skin to breathe (in comparison to some other non-ripstop trousers from Leo-Kohler). In addition the ripstop variant is incredibly loud to do anything sneaky in, and because of the bagginess of them, squishing all that extra material under some real gaiters is required to maintain some semblance of silence. The other problem with these trousers is the fact that they just love to smell, 2 days of going out and doing regular work in the forest (often on the floor though), would quickly make them smell like if you slept on the side of a swamp, any real intense work would make you smell as if you actually swam in one. The problem is not apparent in the regular Leo-Kohler BW smock that I often wear together with the trousers, making me to think that it is the material responsible again. Really good trousers, just that I feel that the ripstop material has more problems than benefits.
